Barista/Shift Supervisor

Daydreamer Coffee is seeking an experienced barista to join our team at Rambler, a coffee cart located inside the leasing office of a student housing building currently under construction. This role will involve training in late June and full operation thereafter, serving future residents, their guests, and leasing office employees. The position runs until mid-May 2027, when the leasing office closes.

About the role

The menu is small, but we prioritize quality by sourcing the best equipment and resources to ensure an exceptional coffee experience. This position is ideal for a self-sufficient, responsible, and professional individual who maintains a positive attitude, enjoys interacting with people, and is comfortable lifting 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the coffee cart independently
• Take inventory and place orders
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and leasing office employees
• Manage the entire operation during shifts (M-F, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM, with hours of operation 9 AM–3 PM)

Requirements

• 1+ years of barista experience
• 1+ years of hospitality experience
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM
• Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs
• Self-sufficient and responsible with minimal oversight
• Management experience preferred

Pay

$25/hour
