About the role
Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail, we are seeking a Part-Time Barista to support our Food and Beverage Department.
Work for a highly prestigious hotel located in sunny Carmel Valley, California.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages like coffee, blended coffees, espresso drinks, and teas whether hot or cold and all other Drink orders requested by our Guests.
- Perform general and preventive maintenance on machines used for coffee making regularly.
- Sell and serve food and beverage to guests in the Club's dining outlets.
- Execute all duties as requested by immediate supervisors.
- Understand and perform basic table service.
- Responsible for ongoing food, wine and service education provided by management.
Requirements
- Must be able to work early mornings, Friday - Sunday and holiday shifts as needed.
- Basic understanding of food and beverage, tourism and hospitality industry.
- Serve Safe Certification preferred.
- Able to multitask and have great communication skills.
