Summary Of Essential Functions And Responsibilities

Welcome customers promptly with a professional and friendly attitude.
Determines the needs and educate the customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answers questions.
Prepares and sells hot and cold beverages including coffee and espresso drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques.
Sells a variety of prepared food items; uses proper equipment to heat items when necessary.
Stocks and presents food/beverage items to standard.
Orders/requisitions food and supplies through lead/sous chef.
Maintains a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes.
Uses POS accurately. Handles cash and credit card transactions as directed.
Participates in upsell strategies as directed by management.
Participates in daily line ups.
P Practices service standards and current training throughout service.

Education And Experience Required

Must be at least 16 years old.
Requires thorough knowledge of a specialized or technical field.
This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma and a minimum of one year job-related experience.
Must be able to obtain food handler certification.
Able to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy. Must have valid driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance and acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Physical Requirements | Environmental Conditions

• Lifting and Carrying: Position may require occasional to frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs utilizing company’s safety guidelines for safe lifting.
  Mobility: Position may require intermittent to prolonged sitting, standing and/or walking for duration of shift, up to 13 hours.
  Repetitive Movements: This position may require performing repetitive movements and tasks throughout the shift, including repeated use of hands, arms or other body parts as part of typical job functions.
  Environmental Conditions: This position requires the ability to perform work tasks in varying weather conditions to include extreme cold and heat.
