Barista - North End Market at Harrison Group Resort Hotels & Restaurants

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas and other beverages to company standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and make recommendations to customers.
• Ensure consistency and quality in all drinks and food presentations.
• Enforce all health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all shifts.
• Restock coffee supplies, syrups, cups and other materials as needed.

Customer Service & Cashiering

• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
• Operate the POS (point-of-sale) system, handle cash, credit and digital payments.
• Provide prompt and friendly service while managing multiple orders.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently, involving management when needed.

Food Expeditor Duties

• Cook food orders for timely service.
• Ensure accuracy and presentation of all outgoing food items.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the food pickup area.

Dishwashing & Cleaning

• Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment following sanitation guidelines.
• Keep dish area, kitchen, and service areas clean and organized.
• Take out trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the cafe.
• Auxiliary in opening and closing cleaning duties.
