BARISTA LEAD (FULL TIME)
Job Summary
The Lead Barista position involves coordinating activities of other food-service employees, ensuring a high-quality dining experience, and managing the preparation and service of food and beverages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides quality customer service by attending to individual customer needs.
- Oversees and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverages, adhering to company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion control.
- Helps plan menus and ensures timely, efficient meal service.
- Serves as a supervisor, overseeing and assigning tasks to employees to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Determines work procedures, prepares schedules, and manages workflow.
- Completes required reports, such as inventory-cash reports, production records, payroll, and timekeeping, using proper systems.
- Manages cash handling according to the Food Accounting Manual, including deposits, petty cash, and change funds.
- Orders food and supplies from approved sources or suppliers.
- Ensures the cleanliness and safety of the facility and employees in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develops and enforces a sanitation schedule, ensuring adherence to cleaning routines for kitchen and dining areas, and maintaining equipment.
- Issues instructions to employees verbally and in writing.
- Trains new employees and oversees their performance in their respective areas of responsibility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Experience as a Barista (espresso, drip, pour over, etc.)
- Team Lead or Supervisory experience preferred
- Fixed Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
