Duties & Responsibilities
- Greets and welcomes customers while providing exceptional customer service.
- Takes orders, including offering menu recommendations and noting dietary restrictions or special requests.
- Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages and food items according to the standardized recipes or as customized for customers.
- Receives and processes payments accurately using the point of sale systems.
- Affords assistance with opening and closing duties, ensuring all stations, equipment, and storage areas are properly secured and stocked.
- Restocks supplies such as cups, lids, coffee beans, syrups and food items.
- Maintains workstations, including keeping them clean and stocked.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment, including sanitizing equipment, wiping counters, and following food safety standards.
- Maintains appropriate temperatures for storage and equipment to ensure product quality and safety.
- Monitors and records appropriate temperatures for storage and equipment to ensure product quality and safety.
- Safeguards all food prep equipment, stations and storage areas by cleaning and maintaining them.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
- Knowledge of sanitation and quality food service standards.
- Knowledge of weights and measures.
- Ability to effectively communicate and provide excellent customer service.
Physical Requirement
- Ability to occasionally transport/move a maximum of 50 pounds.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
