About the role
Better Buzz Coffee is seeking Baristas to help us in our brand new location opening October 2026 at 941 N. Milliken Ave, Ontario, CA 91764. We seek individuals who are gregarious, hospitable, accommodating, competitive, energetic, and available to work at least 22 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
- Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
- Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
- Work all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable, including working in our kitchens to make food to order
- Keep our space clean and safe, always ready for guests and teammates
- Learn the entirety of our business, including:
- Cashier - Point of Sale
- Expo - Inside & Outside Order Taking
- Working the Drive-Thru (if drive-thru)
- Supporting Third-Party Delivery & Online Orders
- Back of House - Cooking & Prepping
Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
- Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
- Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Pay
Base pay is $17 per hour. You will earn tips once the new location is open to the public. Tips average approximately $4.00 per hour, though amounts may vary based on location, hours worked, quality of service, and customer discretion.
