About the role

The Barista is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience by delivering prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. The Barista adheres to Hard Rock’s guiding Principles and Amplified Service Standards.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive atmosphere.
• Actively builds and retains guest relations; mentors team members to provide superior guest service.
• Provides information on all aspects of Hard Rock services and facilities to guests.
• Quotes accurate waiting times and handles waiting guests in accordance with Hard Rock’s service standards.
• Manages the pickup, countdown, and return of cash bank from miscellaneous count.
• Maintains accurate cash balance and handles money securely according to established standards.
• Maintains dining room cleanliness, including bussing tables and sweeping floors.
• Attends and participates in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
• Performs work regularly and predictably.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 months experience in high-volume food service, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties.
• Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality while maintaining a professional appearance.
• Must possess basic math skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide for balancing cash drawer.
• Must have 10-key adding machine experience.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must possess strong guest service skills.
• Able to work in a smoking environment.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Pay

$14 - $19/hour
