Barista / Coffee Shop

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Barista/Coffee Shop to join our team! In this role, you will welcome customers into the coffee shop and prepare their coffee orders. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their drinks and time at our shop. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Welcome customers into the coffee shop with a smileTake food and beverage ordersExplain the menu items to customersCreate a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complexPrep and or prepare basic breakfast sandwichesPrep and or prepare basic pastry irems Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiencyBus tables and wipe down surfacesMaintain a clean work environment Qualifications: Familiarity with food safety guidelinesServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiringExcellent customer service skillsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to remain calm in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to work weekends
