Our coffee shops, affectionately titled Pausa, are positively thriving and it is our Coffee Shop Assistants that are at the very heart of their success. You’ll take pride in every cup you pour, build expert knowledge of our product range and meaningfully connect with our customers. Whether it’s a regular grabbing their usual or a first-time visitor, you’ll make sure every customer leaves feeling better than when they arrived. It’s a busy, hands-on role that takes energy, focus and a fair bit of graft.

Responsibilities

• Meet high standards for Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
• Work as part of a tight-knit team under pressure
• Serve hot and cold beverages that delight customers
• Prepare and present savoury and sweet food items to spark joy
• Ensure all cooked food is served hot and ready to enjoy
• Maintain clean, sanitised restaurant tables promptly
• Uphold exceptional cleanliness throughout the kitchen, service area and restaurant
• Deliver consistently exceptional customer service to support strong CSAT scores
• Work with ingredients including dairy, nuts, meat products (including pork)

Requirements

• Customer obsessed with a focus on putting customers first
• Flexible availability to work weekends and evenings
• Previous experience working closely with a team
• Ideally prior work experience in a similar environment
• Friendly, hard-working individual who loves creating joyful customer experiences
• Team player who contributes enthusiastically and values customer satisfaction

Pay

• 16–17 years old: £8.00 per hour
• 18+ years old: £12.71 per hour
