At Blue Collar Coffee Company, you’ll serve espresso and handcrafted coffee drinks made from beans roasted by Wisconsin-based Ruby Coffee Roasters. We offer a robust drink menu including tea and smoothies in a welcoming, friendly environment—coffee with character for hardworking people.

Responsibilities

• Learn and master the coffee menu and food choices
• Educate customers by presenting and explaining the menu; answering questions
• Maintain a clean work area and customer space, free of cluttered dishes, glasses, and garbage
• Prepare and sell coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and techniques
• Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee beans, stocking equipment, and ensuring supplies are available
• Keep equipment operational by following instructions, maintaining cleanliness, and troubleshooting issues
• Uphold a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to sanitation regulations and organizational standards
• Expand your knowledge through training, reading industry publications, and attending seminars
• Arrive on time and in full uniform for all shifts, including mandatory meetings
• Leave a positive impression on customers to encourage repeat visits and word-of-mouth promotion
• Thank customers for their visit and invite them to return

Requirements

• One year of Barista experience (preferred)
• Basic math skills (able to add, subtract, and count back change)
• Legible handwriting
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• U.S. work authorization (required)

$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
