The Barista is responsible for serving and preparing food and beverages to guests. Responsible for honoring each guest by providing excellent customer service and a friendly, upbeat, and clean atmosphere. Education High School Diploma or GED Experience Six months of related experience Licenses & Certifications ServSafe Certification or certified within 6 months of hire Qualifications Ability to handle hot foods and beverages.Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary for store operation.Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally with staff members and customers.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks at a time. Work successfully as part of a team, while under pressure.Flexibility to work various hours and days based on business needs.Maintains positive morale and professional attitude.Mature, responsible, neat, clean in appearance, and have good personal hygiene.Must be able to read and write to the degree of counting for inventory, cash register operation, and cash handling and stocking purposes.Must be ServSafe certified within 6 months of employment.
