Barista

Essential Functions

• Prepares all food items specified on daily production records in quantities indicated
• Aids guests within coffee bar/retail space taking orders and preparing food in to-go packaging
• Helps with stocking of coffee bar/retail space and maintaining par levels
• Fulfills standardized recipes
• Fulfills coffee bar opening/closing procedures
• Maintains optimum quality of products being produced by multitasking and handling customer volume
• Provides customer-first mentality in daily operations
• Fulfills daily prep and pull schedules as indicated on production records
• Maintains safety of food prepared by following safe sanitary food handling practices – hot food, cold food
• Fulfills specified cleaning procedures for all equipment & designated areas
• Maintains proper food storage practices – cover, label, date

Work Environment

• Daily exposure to high heat through steamer, oven griddle, steam table
• Daily exposure to extreme cold of walk-in freezer
• Daily use of chemicals specified to MSDS manual

Eligibility Requirements

• Employees regularly scheduled at least 20 hours per week
• Legal spouse or domestic partner, Dependent children until age 26
