About the Role

Imagine turning your passion and talent for specialty coffee and tea into a fulfilling career in a beautiful, luxury hotel environment. As a Barista, you will prepare all specialty coffee and tea drinks to specified standards while providing professional, friendly, and timely service. You’ll maintain cleanliness of equipment, counters, and prep areas, and participate in ongoing service training. Your role includes managing daily and weekly inventory, polishing silverware and glassware, and delivering on guests’ expectations to create WOW moments. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all specialty coffee and tea drinks to specified standards
• Provide guests with professional, friendly, and timely service
• Maintain cleanliness of coffee equipment, counter, prep areas, and stocking supplies
• Participate in ongoing service training and maintain menu knowledge
• Conduct daily and weekly inventory of coffee, tea, beverages, and supplies
• Polish silverware and glassware
• Create WOW moments by exceeding guests’ expectations
• Perform additional duties as assigned, which may fall outside the normal scope of responsibilities

Requirements

• Enjoy preparing specialty coffees, teas, beverages, and food items in a fun environment
• Strong communication skills and a passion for engaging with guests
• Openness to learning, personal growth, and helping others develop
• Trustworthiness and integrity
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move around for extended periods during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods
• Ability to push and pull food-serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds semi-regularly

Pay

The base hourly wage for this position is $19.65.
