Barista

About the role

As a Barista, you’ll create a welcoming experience by preparing high-quality coffee and specialty beverages with speed and precision. You’ll engage with guests, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure every order meets brand and quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering great service with a smile. You will report to the Beverage Manager or Bistro Supervisor.

A career as a barista can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as bartender, beverage manager, or even food and beverage management positions.

Responsibilities

• Operate coffee and espresso machines to prepare high-quality beverages
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Provide exceptional customer service and engage with guests
• Ensure all orders meet brand and quality standards

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Sufficient education and/or literacy to identify and read product labels and communicate with guests about job-related needs
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
• A warm, professional demeanor that reflects HVMG’s Culture of Excellence

Hotel experience is a plus. Previous experience in a similar or related position is preferred but not required.
