About the Resort

The Kingston Resorts is a 145-acre oceanfront resort on the north end of Myrtle Beach. Located less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20-minute trip to Broadway at the Beach, the resort includes the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort, Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach, Kingston Plantation Condos, and Royal Palms, offering many opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Greet, prepare, service, and take guests' orders for beverages and/or food in a friendly, courteous, professional, and timely manner to ensure total guest satisfaction.
• Educate customers on the drink menu, making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Upsell additional items to enhance profitability.
• Enter orders into a computerized system and settle check(s) upon completion of order.
• Make and/or present drinks using standard ingredients/recipes while practicing prudent portion control.
• Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record transactions, and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance all transactions.
• Maintain proper and adequate setup of the coffee bar daily, including requisitioning, stocking, and rotating all products.
• Respond to guest complaints in a positive and tactful manner, negotiate compromises, and implement solutions.
• Lock up and store all beverages, food, and equipment; deposit cash drops; secure and balance the bank; and sign keys in/out.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.

Schedule

This is a part-time, year-round position at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort. Open availability is required, including weekends and holidays.
