Barista

About the role

We are seeking winning personalities to work as a barista at Dunkin Donuts located inside RDU Airport. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions
• Calculate the cost of products or services
• Accept payments and return change when required by the payment method
• Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change as needed
• Answer guest questions about products or services
• Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts
• Report issues with equipment
• Work as a team to meet store sales goals
• Handle guest complaints
• Process layaways, returns, and exchanges
• Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
• Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Stay up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information

Requirements

• Ability to calculate sales and change quickly
• Accountability and accuracy in reconciling sales receipts
• Oriented toward serving others and helping guests
• Exceptional hospitality skills
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent verbal communication
