Responsibilities

• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.
• Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues.
• Communicates information to the manager so that the team can respond as necessary.
• Delivers legendary customer service by acting with a “customer first” attitude and connecting with each guest.
• Discovers and responds to customer needs.
• Follows operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety/security protocols, to ensure the safety of all partners each shift.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace so partners can locate resources and products as needed.
• Provides quality beverages, whole‑bean coffee, and food products consistently by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
• Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Demands

• Ability to transport up to 30 lb through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
• Lifting up to 30 lb maximum.
• Constant standing and walking required.
• Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.

Schedule

The hotel operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, requiring variations in shift days, start times, and weekly hours.
