About the role

Primary Location: Burnet Campus, Department: Food Services, Shift: Day (United States of America). Schedule: Part time, Weekly Hours: 28, FTE: 0.7, Employee Status: Regular.

Responsibilities

Schedule: Shifts will be scheduled between 6a-7p, 28 hours/week. Includes a mandatory every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.

• Prepare and serve Starbucks beverages and food items according to recipes and standards
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Operate the POS system and process transactions accurately
• Stock and replenish food, beverage, and retail items
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
• Monitor product quality and follow food safety guidelines
• Support team operations and assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, stock, push, and pull supplies and equipment
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Barista experience or equivalent
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent

Pay

Expected Starting Pay Range: $17.80 - $21.51. Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on‑call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.
