Barista and Cafe Associate

Responsibilities

• Prepare all fudge products and sell to customers
• Perform all Ginna’s restaurant functions, which may include deli line, barista, grill, ice cream, baked goods, fudge and other duties as assigned per Ginna’s Manager and Supervisors
• Follow all food safety guidelines by State and Local Ordinances
• Avoid receiving and storing products outside of Standard Operating Guidelines
• Avoid assisting in training new associates
• Avoid managing and supporting side work, daily and detail cleaning schedules, opening and closing procedures
• Avoid maintaining an orderly and exceptionally clean appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas
• Avoid being professional in appearance and attitude, contributing to a positive team atmosphere and treating others with respect and consideration
• Avoid demonstrating strong oral/written communication and reading skills to communicate effectively and timely with customers and all levels of the organization
• Avoid preparing many different types of food, drinks and ingredients

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills

• Add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Write routine reports and correspondence
• Speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization
• Demonstrate strong oral/written communication and reading skills to communicate effectively and timely with customers and all levels of the organization
• Prepare many different types of food, drinks and ingredients
