Bariatric Surgery Coordinator

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program; preferred to have certification in Bariatric Surgery as offered by the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons desirable or prior experience working with surgical and bariatric patients.
• Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes: Desirable characteristics include at least five (5) years of experience as a nurse, preferably in the area of application.
• Licenses/Certificates: Must possess current PA license as a Registered Nurse. Must obtain and maintain a current certification in BLS and must be complete prior to end of orientation period The Bariatric Surgery Coordinator will be an active Affiliate Member of ASBS.
