Bariatric Surgeon

About the role

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a part-time Bariatric Surgeon for a mobile practice in Colorado Springs, CO. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.

What you'll do

• Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day
• Perform clinical documentation at point of care in real-time using proprietary wound-specific EMR
• Become an expert in wound management through training from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of Colorado
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time role
• Ability to travel within a 40–60 mile radius of practice location
• No work visa sponsorship is available

Schedule

• Part-time: minimum of 3 days per week
• Full-time: 4–5 days per week, Monday–Friday (7am–4pm)
• No call / no weekend clinical responsibilities

Training

• Paid training provided during onboarding
• 6-month wound care fellowship included

Compensation

• W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits
