Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with ASMBS/ACS standards.
- High-Complexity Validation: Provide expert-level ground truth for intricate bariatric surgical case presentations, operative planning, and surgical candidacy.
- Safety Oversight: Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations in AI outputs that could impact patient safety or triage decisions.
- Strategic Consulting: Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools for bariatric surgical care.
Qualifications
- Credentials: Board-certified or board-eligible in Surgery (ABS), or a current senior resident or fellow (PGY-2 or above) training in the field.
- Experience: 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training.
- Communication: Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.
Position Details
- Environment: 100% Remote
- Commitment: Flexible, project-based hours designed to fit around a clinical or training schedule.

- Location Focus: Candidates based in California are prioritized for this cohort, but the role is fully remote across the United States.
