Part‑time bariatric surgeon position with National Wound Physician Group in Sioux Falls, SD. The role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility and work‑life balance with no nights, no call and no weekend responsibilities. Clinical Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound‑certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
• Utilize cutting‑edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
• Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Document clinical notes at point of care in real‑time using the proprietary wound‑specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week (part‑time) – full‑time is 4‑5 days per week.
• W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship available).

Practice Overview

• Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday, 7 am‑4 pm; part‑time available.
• No call, no weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Mobile practice: physicians visit facilities within a 40‑60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Typical day: 2‑3 facilities visited, treating approximately 20‑30 patients per day.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post‑acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long‑Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Paid training provided during onboarding plus a 6‑month wound care fellowship.
