Skilled Wound Care, a premier national physician group, is hiring Bariatric Surgeons in Brentwood, TN to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. Responsibilities
- Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
- Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non‑healing and complex wounds
- Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
- Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post‑acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
Requirements
- Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
- DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
- Open to Bariatric Surgeons and surgeons of all backgrounds, as well as Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians
- No previous wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training is provided
Pay
- Average Annual Earnings: $200,000–$250,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
- High Achievers: Top performers earn $300,000+ through performance bonuses
- Pay Structure: Per‑patient and per‑procedure pay, plus quarterly bonus programs
