About the role
Barge Design Solutions is seeking experienced Survey Crew Chiefs to lead and manage daily field survey crews. The ideal candidate will oversee GPS, total station, and data collection work, execute boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys, ensure field safety, accuracy, and productivity, coordinate with project managers and engineers, and mentor and develop junior crew members.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in surveying
- Proficiency with GPS, total station, and data collection tools
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Surveying degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of local and state surveying codes and regulations
- Experience with GIS software
