About the role
We are seeking a qualified Barbering Instructor to provide vocational training to up to eight students in a secure correctional facility.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans
- Track student progress and attendance
- Maintain training records
- Follow all facility security procedures
Qualifications
- Current Washington State license or certification authorizing barbering instruction
- Barbering and instructional experience
- Ability to pass a background check and complete required 40-hour pre-service training
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working with incarcerated adults
