Bar Prep
Duties & Responsibilities
- Organizes and shelves beer and liquor deliveries.
- Prepares juices, mixes, syrups, garnishes, etc.
- Ensures the bar is well-stocked with glasses, coasters, napkins, straws, ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
- Ensures constituency and addresses par fluctuations proactively at the juicing and cocktail stages.
- Delivers fresh juice to kitchen for prep and bar for non-alcoholic cocktails
- Maintains the quality, prep protocols, and cleanliness standards of the CDC & Beverage Manager.
- Properly rotates products and ensures perishable items are labeled.
- Completes all assigned side work related to set up and breakdown of bar prep area and restocking the bar prep area for the next shift.
- Updates knowledge and skills continuously by participating in staff training opportunities.
- Assists other stations or areas of the restaurant when requested by management.
Essential Functions
- Knowledge of COQODAQ brand, culture, and product.
- Must be able to lift heavy boxes (at least 50 lbs).
- Able to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods of time over multiple floors.
- Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as the business dictates.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Must be reachable by email and able to communicate via phone as well.
- Polished personal presentation; Grooming meets company standards outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and New York State Department of Health standards for bar and food service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements
- Basic knowledge of bar menu items and recipes.
