Bar Porter- Stewarding

Job Responsibilities

• Fulfills job responsibilities to support the department and maximize opportunities for success
• Maintains all Encore Standards
• Ensures excellent guest and team member experience
• Identifies key drivers of success
• Contributes to departmental performance and accuracy of policies and procedures
• Follows all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and property-wide controls
• Delivers and maintains a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction
• Communicates politely and displays courtesy to guests and internal customers
• Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
• Prepares in advance material and equipment needed for the shift
• Cleans and re-sets his/her working area
• Maintains safety as a priority and follows department and company safety standards
• Performs any other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Age, Gaming and Certifications: 21 years of age or above, requires registration/license from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, and preferred ServSafe or equivalent certification
• Education and/or Experience: High school degree or equivalent preferred, minimum 6 months prior related experience preferred
• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail
• Fluent knowledge of chemicals, SDS, personal protection equipment, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Languages: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, respond to inquiries, and write instructions
• Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach, use hands, and lift up to 50 pounds
