Bar Back - Snow Valley

Job Summary

Levy is seeking a Bar Back for the Snow Valley location. This seasonal position supports bartenders and staff by handling bar opening and closing procedures, restocking, and preparing garnishes. The role helps ensure guests receive excellent service and enjoy their time at the venue. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in a bar serving alcoholic beverages and be available for various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct, and respond to guest questions and needs in a timely manner
• Interact with customers while tidying tables, counters, and other bar areas
• Assist in clearing tables and serving areas of dust and debris (summer) or snow (winter)
• Change out beer kegs and replace liquor and beer bottles
• Restock the bar with straws, coasters, and napkins
• Remove trash and clean up drink spills
• Maintain venue cleanliness and organization per company standards
• Refill ice bins
• Clean and restock rags throughout the shift
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed
• Assist bartenders during rush hours
• Ensure the venue is always “Show Ready”
• Comply with all county and company food and beverage regulations

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 to serve open‑container alcohol
• Ability to lift 150+ pounds (full‑size keg)
• Previous entry‑level bar or restaurant experience preferred
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong guest service skills
• Adaptability
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the venue organized, stocked, and clean
• Jerry Jolly Responsible Alcohol Service Certificate

Pay

Pay Range: $19.00 per hour (mandatory tip split).

Schedule

Seasonal position. Must be 21 years or older. Weekends and holidays are required. Availability for various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and major holidays.
