Job Summary

Ignite your career in the heart of downtown Phoenix at Caesar’s Sportsbook and Restaurant! Alongside Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, we’re seeking passionate individuals to join our team.

• Greeting guests promptly in a friendly manner
• Aid in restocking and replenishing bar supplies including liquor, glassware, garnishes, and essentials
• Prepare and stock bar areas with all products including beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, etc.
• Maintain stocks, prepare, cure, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
• Organize and rotate stock to ensure freshness and accessibility
• Maintain hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Ensure beer taps are working properly
• Ensure the cleanliness of the bar and restaurant areas; wash work tables, walls, refrigerators, floors
• Assist bartenders with beverage preparation and service as needed
• Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
• Complete opening and closing duties including cleaning tasks in assigned area and preparation tasks
• Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning duties and preparation tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

• Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact professionally and effectively
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems and cash-handling experience
• Ability to assist with food preparation and restock bar inventory
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, best practices, and sanitation requirements
• This position may require the following valid certifications; ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the restaurant and/or sports entertainment industry
• Previous Bar back or bartender experience preferred

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging 6-12 hours, during events or as required by operational demands
• Must be able to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, ascending/descending stairs, as necessary
• Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed
