About the Role

The Alida Hotel celebrates the self-made artisans who cultivate Savannah's contemporary spirit, blending modern life with timeless Southern charm on the city's revitalized riverfront. We seek a detail-oriented Bar Back—the silent hero who ensures every glass of cabernet or craft cocktail is served with precision. This role maintains the behind-the-scenes operations that make memorable guest experiences possible.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the critical six: ice, juice, syrups/mixers, spirits, glassware, and bar top cleanliness.
• Anticipate and restock bar items during shifts to prevent shortages.
• Understand bar equipment and troubleshoot issues (e.g., low CO₂ in tap lines, dishwasher cycling, changing beer keys).
• Maintain cleanliness across all bar areas, including guest-facing surfaces, back storage, waste bins, and floors.
• Develop thorough knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings, aligning with the hotel’s brand vision and quality standards.
• Work seamlessly with bartenders to ensure smooth bar operations.

Requirements

• Prior experience highly preferred.
• Proactive and detail-oriented demeanor.
