Bar Back

About the role

Responsible for filling and maintaining ice wells for bartenders, restocking beer and liquor as needed, as well as changing kegs. Bar backs prep, store, rotate, and stock all garnishes for the bartenders. They should anticipate needs and maintain constant awareness of bar inventory to prevent shortages before bartenders run out or need to ask.

• Restock and organize beer coolers
• Anticipate bar inventory needs without being asked

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 50 lbs., and bend, climb, or work in confined spaces
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
