About the role

The Baptist Health – UAMS Medical Education Program Designated Institutional Official (DIO) provides institutional leadership and oversight for all ACGME-accredited residency programs under the Baptist Health-UAMS Medical Education Program Sponsoring Institution. The DIO is responsible for ensuring institutional compliance with ACGME Institutional Requirements and Common Program Requirements and serves as the primary institutional liaison to the ACGME.
