Banquet Wait Staff - Part Time

About the role

Provide courteous table service in a hotel dining establishment, including taking orders, delivering meals, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Set tables with proper linens, China, and silverware.
• Perform side work such as refilling supplies and organizing storage.
• Follow sanitation codes and maintain cleanliness.
• Greet guests professionally and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Accurately record charges in the POS system and balance sales.
• Ensure proper food and beverage service according to standards and laws.
• Complete side work at the end of each shift.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior wait staff experience (2+ years preferred).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle difficult situations and maintain professionalism.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Compensation starts at $8.15/hour plus tips, with guarantees to meet minimum wage laws.
