Position Overview

Slows Bar-B-Q is seeking energetic, detail-oriented Part-Time Banquet Servers to join their catering and events team. This role offers flexible weekend and evening shifts at weddings, corporate gatherings, and community celebrations. Ideal for those looking to supplement their income, this position requires a great attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Set up and tear down event spaces (tables, buffet lines, equipment).
• Welcome guests with warm hospitality and answer questions about the menu.
• Serve food, replenish buffets, clear plates, and manage trash throughout the event.
• Collaborate with event captains and kitchen staff to keep the party running smoothly.
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in catering, banquets, or restaurant service is a plus, but training is provided for those with a great attitude and strong work ethic.
• Able to be available for events on weekdays and weekends.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Punctual, reliable, professional appearance, and a team-first mindset.
