Banquet Setup/Breakdown Attendant (Full-Time) - Arizona Biltmore
About the role
The Banquet Setup/Breakdown Attendant position is available at Arizona Biltmore, a LXR Hotel & Resort by Hilton in Phoenix, AZ. As part of the Pyramid Global Hospitality team, you will be part of a renowned hospitality management company with a portfolio of over 200 hotels and resorts.
Responsibilities
- Clean, set and break down all conference and banquet functions in accordance with hotel standards and in a timely manner.
- Clean all function areas, including vacuuming, dusting, mirror cleaning, rug shampooing, metal polishing, window cleaning, and other overall detail of meeting rooms.
- Keep all exits and fire lanes clean and clear.
- Communicate to Supervisors or Managers of any broken equipment.
- Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others.
- Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, preferred. Certification in Hospitality or Event Management is a plus. One (1) year of prior work experience, preferred.
Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Skills
Attention to detail, ability to follow directions, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
