Banquet Server (On-Call) - Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead

About the role

Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Banquet Server (On-Call) to join the Food and Beverage Team at the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead. Located in one of Atlanta's most prestigious neighborhoods, this Forbes 4-Star and AAA 4-Diamond hotel is a 42-story tower with over 200 rooms (127 guest rooms plus residences), over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and 3 food and beverage outlets including a 3-meal restaurant, bar, and in-room dining. As a Banquet Server, you'll deliver memorable experiences that make every guest's stay special.

Responsibilities

• Delight guests with an upbeat, friendly attitude and proactively look for ways to make their experience special
• Master all menu items and specials to confidently assist guests and answer questions
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver completed orders promptly with attention to detail
• Manage the service station to ensure it is always fully stocked, clean, and organized
• Clear and transport tableware (dishware, glassware, silverware) to the dishwashing area after meal service
• Support event preparation by cleaning, arranging and setting banquet tables, and restocking supplies to maintain seamless event flow
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations to ensure the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
