Artisan by Santa Barbara Catering in Tempe, AZ is hiring for kitchen positions including Prep Cooks, Pastry Cooks, and Dishwashers. The role involves supporting high‑volume catering production under the guidance of the Executive Chef.

Requirements

• Experience in high‑volume food production
• Management experience
• Understanding of off‑premise catering operations

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality foodservice while adhering to company recipes and instructions to attain client satisfaction
• Maintain compliance with all company rules and regulations, especially food safety
• Contribute to delivering the Santa Barbara Catering brand through innovative cuisine, exceptional service, and creative presentation
• Attendance is an essential function of the job
• Continually check food quality for taste, temperature, and visual appeal
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
• Follow all safety and sanitation rules
• Adhere to existing and new Maricopa County Health Department regulations in assigned area
• Maintain impeccable personal and operational hygiene and high work and safety standards
• Represent the company to clients in a positive manner at all times
• Offer help whenever possible and demonstrate a team‑player mentality
• Pursue personal growth within the company and assist others in their growth
• Perform physical activities such as standing for long periods, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, and lifting/pulling/carrying/pushing up to 50 pounds
• Work professionally, promote a respectful, team‑minded environment, and demonstrate a sense of urgency
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Executive Chef
