Job Responsibilities
- Serve meals to guests or direct guests to buffet line in the venue dining areas at catering functions.
- Direct guests to the appropriate area for alcoholic drinks and ensure they follow standard recipes and policies and procedures.
- Verify guest IDs to confirm they are of legal drinking age and cut off alcohol service to visibly intoxicated guests.
- Monitor guests and address their needs promptly, ensuring the meal is completed.
- Refill necessary condiments and replace tableware and linens as needed.
- Set up banquet functions according to company standards, including linens, dishes, glassware, and silverware.
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas by following proper procedures and techniques.
- Assist other food and beverage departments as required.
Additional Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A valid liquor license/alcohol service permit and/or food handling certificate is required by state and federal regulations.
- One year of outside catering experience is preferred.
- Fine dining and/or banquet experience is preferred.

- Speak, read, and write in English.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Extended hours, nights, and weekends may be required during peak periods.
- Frequent or continual movement, lifting up to 25 lbs. unassisted, and occasional lifting of heavier items or assisting others.
- Standing, walking, seeing, hearing, reaching, grasping, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, crouching, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward positions and tight areas.
- Working in potentially inclement or severe weather conditions.
