Banquet Server (Hospitality)

About the role

Three Leaf Catering, part of the University of Notre Dame’s Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division, is seeking a full-time Banquet Server to support hospitality services on campus. The role involves serving food, pouring beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in accordance with established service standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare table service for functions as directed by the Banquet Captain or Lead Banquet Server.
• Follow written specifications provided by the events department.
• Participate in equipment removal following meal service.
• Professionally serve banquet functions, including serving food, pouring beverages, and handling special guest requests.
• Follow established guidelines for the safe handling of food.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.

Qualifications

• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods (up to 6 hours at a time).
• Knowledge of and adherence to food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Pay

$17.50 per hour plus gratuity.
