Banquet Server (Full or Part Time with Weekend Availability)

About the role

The Banquet Server will set up and prepare banquet rooms for functions, serve and bus tables, and clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of each event. This role is key to orchestrating extraordinary gatherings in Vermont's picturesque countryside, ensuring every event is executed with precision and care.

Responsibilities

• Set up for functions: draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, and placing table centerpieces.
• Serve food: pick up food from the back hall, carry trays to the function location, serve food, and clear tables.
• Break down banquet rooms: bus tables, remove dirty linen and centerpieces, and vacuum.
• Clean and organize the back hall and storerooms.
• Maintain excellent customer service with guests.
• Maintain open communication with management and other employees.
• Stay well-organized and efficient.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pleasant and helpful personality.

Pay

$7.21/hour + tips (averages ~$35/hour).
