Banquet Server

Essential Duties

• Prepares function site and meeting rooms according to specifications.
• Serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.
• Sets dining tables, buffets, and other service areas according to Banquet Event Order or as directed.
• Attends and actively participates in pre-shift meetings, communicating special requests and concerns to the department manager.
• Helps to maintain clean banquet and kitchen areas.
• Oversees all equipment with care.
• Affords inventory control and monitors waste in the banquet or catering area.
• Ensures guests receive excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise.
• Incorporates safe and sanitary work practices throughout job performance.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to three months related experience and training
