About the role
The Banquet Server is responsible for providing guests with an enjoyable, expertly served dining experience that exceeds their expectations. Duties may include roles such as welcome greeter, cocktail server, hors d'oeuvre passer, reception bus person, buffet runner, front server, back server, and exit usher.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy.
- Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
- Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers, and staff.
- Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
- Attend all necessary meetings.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
- Six (6) months previous food and beverage experience in an upscale outlet.
- Ability to perform wait and server standards within a specific time frame.
- Excellent guest relation skills and an ability to be attentive and anticipate all guest needs are necessary (be proactive).
- Must possess excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate in English through writing and speaking. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively and interact well with the customers and employees. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Pay
Starting Rate: $10.70
Compensation Is Negotiable Based On Experience And Education.
Each position has varying minimum qualifications.
Schedule
Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.
