Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented to the standards set for The Osthoff Resort & Spa
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all banquet event orders are completed in a timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of standard menus, special menus, and 86 items
- PRACTICE CLEAR AND EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION WITH ALL KITCHEN AND BANQUET TEAM MEMBERS
- Demonstrate working knowledge of dietary needs and its importance to safe food handling
- MONITOR FOOD QUALITY, PORTION CONTROL, AND PRESENTATION FOR ALL BANQUET FUNCTIONS
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed
- MaintAIN A CLEAN, ORGANIZED, AND EFFICIENT KITCHEN ENVIRONMENT
- MaintAIN A HARMONYOUS WORK ENVIRONMENT
- All other duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in a high-volume banquet or resort setting preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexible schedule including some evening, weekend, and holiday availability
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence
