Banquet Houseperson

Salary: $16.90/hour

Responsibilities

• Review the Event Order and assignment sheet to determine function requirements with a keen eye for detail.
• Set, stock, and maintain meeting rooms with a warm and genuine demeanor to ensure the event exceeds client expectations.
• Meticulously complete cleaning inspections for each meeting room and assigned area.
• Ensure quality communication by reporting any guest request changes to an F&B Manager.
• Assist other departments as needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Set up tables and chairs to meet function specifications.
• Properly clean meeting spaces at the beginning, during, and end of events, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, wiping, and scrubbing.
• Complete assigned side work, such as cleaning meeting and storage spaces, to adhere to health standards.
• Abide by all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure for extensive periods while maintaining professionalism.
