Banquet Houseperson

The Hotel at Arundel Preserve is where elevated events come to life—from high-powered corporate meetings to unforgettable celebrations. Our Banquets team is the behind-the-scenes powerhouse that transforms spaces and sets the stage for moments that matter.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms according to event diagrams and specifications
• Move tables, chairs, staging, and AV equipment with care and efficiency
• Ensure all event spaces are clean, safe, and guest-ready
• Collaborate with banquet servers, culinary, and event managers to execute flawless functions
• Respond to last-minute changes with flexibility and a can-do attitude
• Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and report any maintenance needs
• Uphold brand standards and contribute to a positive, high-energy work environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or event setup preferred (but not required)
• Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy items safely
• Strong work ethic and a team-first mindset
• Attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• A positive attitude and readiness to jump in wherever needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a similar role preferred

Pay

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour (experience-based compensation)
