About the role

We are looking for part-time Banquet House Persons to join our Banquets Team. This role involves manual setup, breakdown, and servicing of all meeting rooms in accordance with Crescent’s high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the work.
• Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest, including transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, and dancefloors from storage to meeting rooms.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return materials to storage so the room will be available for the next function.
• Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms to keep them presentable at all times.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Willingness to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties as a team player.
• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and weekends.
