Banquet Houseman
Position Purpose & Summary
Responsible for maintaining exceptional service standards, room presentation, and guest satisfaction. Handles, stores, and maintains equipment and supplies to prevent loss and damage.
About the Role
Essential Functions
- Checks with Banquet Manager/Captain for specific instructions.
- Sets up banquet rooms to Club and Resort standards.
- Pre-arranges all equipment, china, and supplies for events as needed.
- Assists with transportation of supplies, equipment, food, and beverages to various venues across the property.
- Ensures all A/V needs are met and set up has been tested prior to events.
- Assists with last-minute client requests and changes.
- Performs necessary clean-up and sanitation activities for food and beverage storage facilities.
- Keeps facilities clean and orderly.
- Thoroughly cleans event/meeting rooms before and after banquet events, including dusting all woodwork, taking out trash, and vacuuming as needed.
- Reports hazardous conditions or broken equipment to Engineering Department immediately.
- Is timely with refreshing rooms during banquet event breaks.
- Completes any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge & Skills
- Requires ability to interpret/extrapolate information and/or perform arithmetic functions.
- May require typing, CRT, record keeping, or word processing.
- May have need for good communication skills.
- Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: Minimum formal education of a high school diploma and minimum of three (3) months job-related experience required.
- Licenses, Registrations, and/or Certifications Required: State of Colorado (or equivalent) Safe-Serve Certification/TIPS Bar Certificate.
