Responsibilities

• Set, maintain, and refresh hotel banquet and meeting rooms according to sales contracts and company standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization are completed in a timely manner.
• Assist the supervisor during large functions.
• Provide timely and safe breakdown of meeting rooms after event completion.
• Refresh rooms on schedule, supply water, clean, and set them for appropriate functions.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Prior housekeeping experience desirable.
• Minimal literacy needed; ability to utilize alternate training tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, associates, and supervisors.
• Ability to assess and meet standards of appearance and service.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Mobility to reach shelves, windows, ledges, pipes, and areas under/around furniture.
• Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Climbing approximately 40 steps (about 15% of a 40‑hour week).
• No driving required.
• Work environment is indoors for roughly 80% of an 8‑hour day.
